Minister of Defense Congratulates Graduates from Sudanese Military College

In a ceremony held in the temporary capital of Aden, Minister of Defense Lieutenant General Mohsen Al-Daari congratulated the graduates of the Sudanese Military College. The event celebrated the promotion of 36 officers to the rank of Second Lieutenant after completing their studies at the military academy.

Celebrating Resilience and Determination

During the graduation ceremony, Lieutenant General Al-Daari emphasized that the successful completion of this cohort represents a commendable display of perseverance amid the challenges posed by ongoing conflicts. He praised the graduates for their unwavering determination, noting that they did not allow difficulties to hinder their academic pursuits. Instead, they remained committed to their studies and achieved their goals.

Future Leaders of the Armed Forces

The Minister highlighted the potential of these young graduates, stating, “These young faces and creative energies are the leaders of the future. We rely on them for the development, training, and qualification of our armed forces.” He stressed the importance of dedication and excellence, urging the graduates to apply the skills and knowledge they acquired in their military units.

Strengthening Ties Between Yemen and Sudan

Lieutenant General Al-Daari also acknowledged the deep fraternal relations between Yemen and Sudan. He expressed gratitude for Sudan’s role in accommodating Yemeni students in various military colleges and academies. The Minister conveyed his hopes for peace to prevail in Sudan, wishing the country success in overcoming its current challenges.

Acknowledgments and Honors

The ceremony included speeches from representatives of the Training and Qualification Authority and the graduates themselves. The event saw the presence of several high-ranking military officials, including Major General Ahmed Al-Basri, Deputy Chief of General Staff, and Major General Mohammed Batis, Assistant Minister of Defense for Human Affairs. Other attendees included Major General Saleh Hassan, Assistant Minister of Defense for Logistics, Major General Khalid Al-Ashoul, Chief of Operations, Major General Ahmed Al-Yafai, Chief of Intelligence, and Major General Fadl Hassan, Commander of the Fourth Military Region, along with various deputies and military leaders.

This graduation ceremony not only marks a significant milestone for the graduates but also reinforces the ongoing collaboration and support between Yemen and Sudan in military education and training.
