Today, Minister of Defense Lieutenant General Dr. Al-Aqeeli convened a meeting with his aides and heads of various departments within the Ministry of Defense. The primary focus of this meeting was to discuss the progress of training and qualification programs, as well as scholarship plans aimed at enhancing the capabilities of military personnel.
The meeting, attended by Deputy Chief of Staff Major General Ahmed Al-Basri, centered on both internal and external qualification and scholarship programs. Participants reviewed the implementation status of training plans and identified challenges affecting workflow, particularly concerning the entitlements of scholarship recipients.
The discussion also included measures taken to develop training that meets the needs of the armed forces. Minister Al-Aqeeli emphasized that training and qualification serve as fundamental pillars for building a professional military capable of adapting to evolving military developments.
Minister Al-Aqeeli stressed the importance of intensifying efforts to expand quality training programs. He urged stakeholders to maximize available opportunities for qualification. This initiative aims to positively impact the combat and administrative efficiency of the armed forces.
The Minister of Defense called for strict adherence to the regulations governing scholarship operations. He highlighted the necessity of nominations based on established criteria, ensuring transparency and fairness throughout the process.
