The Defense Minister inspects the Military Academy in Aden, affirming the armed forces’ readiness to face challenges.

Minister of Defense Visits Military Academy in Aden

Today, Minister of Defense Major General Mohsen Al-Dhari conducted an inspection tour of the Military Academy in Aden, the temporary capital of Yemen. This visit is part of his broader initiative to assess military zones, fronts, and educational institutions affiliated with the armed forces.

Celebrating National Revolutions

During his visit, Minister Al-Dhari conveyed the congratulations of the political leadership, represented by Dr. Rashad Al-Alimi, the President of the Presidential Leadership Council, along with council members and government officials. He celebrated the anniversaries of the Yemeni revolutions of September, October, and November, highlighting the academy’s crucial role in training qualified military personnel.

Emphasizing Military Readiness

Al-Dhari stressed the importance of drawing inspiration from the spirit of the September and October revolutions in the fight against the Iran-backed Houthi militia. He reaffirmed the armed forces’ readiness to follow in the footsteps of their ancestors in the liberation struggle. Furthermore, he noted that military academies serve as the cornerstone for achieving victory.

Commitment to National Unity

The Minister pointed out that the military institution remains apolitical and free from partisanship and racism. It operates as a unified force dedicated to protecting the nation and ensuring security and stability. He called for unity and collaboration to fulfill the aspirations of the Yemeni people in building a strong and secure state.

Honoring National Sacrifices

In response, Brigadier General Mohammed Al-Sufi, Deputy Director of the Military Academy, emphasized that the anniversary of the October 14 Revolution serves as a national milestone to renew the commitment to the sacrifices made by heroes. He stressed that building a nation begins with dedication, discipline, and hard work in the fields of defense and development.

This visit underscores the ongoing commitment of Yemen’s military leadership to enhance the capabilities of its armed forces while honoring the nation’s revolutionary history.
