Meeting Overview

Today, Minister of Defense Major General Dr. Mohsen Al-Daari met with British Ambassador to Yemen, Abda Sharif, to discuss the latest developments in security and military conditions. The two officials explored ways to enhance cooperation in training and capacity building.

Strengthening Bilateral Relations

During the meeting, Minister Al-Daari emphasized the deep-rooted relationships between Yemen and the United Kingdom across various sectors, particularly in defense and security. He highlighted the importance of bolstering the Yemeni Navy and Coast Guard with necessary equipment and technology. This operation involved the Coast Guard, the Counter-Terrorism Unit, and various security and military agencies, along with the Public Prosecution and Customs Authority. Additionally, he mentioned another shipment seized by the National Resistance.
