MUKALLA, Yemen – In a significant gathering, Salem Al-Khanbashi, a member of the Presidential Leadership Council and Governor of Hadhramaut, met with the Noah tribes and several local sheikhs in Mukalla. During the meeting, he emphasized the critical importance of unity and decision-making among the Hadhrami people at this pivotal moment. Al-Khanbashi announced that the province is set to embark on major developmental projects with support from Saudi Arabia.
Commitment to National Dialogue Outcomes
Al-Khanbashi urged attendees to adhere to the outcomes of the National Dialogue Conference and to work towards building a federal state. He called for the rejection of foreign behaviors and encouraged a team spirit to maintain the security and stability of Hadhramaut.
Tribal Support for Leadership
In response, the Noah tribes reaffirmed their trust in Al-Khanbashi and the leadership of the state and the Arab coalition. They expressed appreciation for Saudi support and highlighted that the security of Hadhramaut is integral to the security of the Kingdom. The tribes also asserted their right for Hadhramaut to be an independent region within the federal state, reflecting the will of its people.
