Military Leadership Addresses Recent Developments in Yemen

The Chief of General Staff and Commander of Joint Operations, Lieutenant General Saghir bin Aziz, convened a comprehensive meeting with leaders from the Ministry of Defense. This gathering aimed to discuss the latest field developments across various fronts, particularly focusing on the implications of Iranian violations of Yemen’s sovereignty, highlighted by unauthorized flights to Sana’a Airport.

Maximum Readiness Levels

During the meeting, the Chief of Staff emphasized the need to elevate readiness levels across all military units. This directive aligns with instructions from the Presidential Leadership Council. Lieutenant General Saghir bin Aziz reaffirmed the armed forces’ commitment to counter any potential aggression or escalation from the Houthi group.
