Annual Analytical Conference Kicks Off in Military Region Six

Today, Major General Sagheer bin Aziz, the Chief of General Staff and Commander of Joint Operations, inaugurated the Annual Analytical Conference for 2024 in Military Region Six. The conference operates under the theme, “Through Analysis and Performance Evaluation, We Overcome Challenges and Achieve Victory.”

Leadership’s Support and Recognition

During his address, Major General bin Aziz conveyed the greetings and appreciation of the political and military leadership, represented by President Dr. Rashad Alimi, the Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, and all council members. He acknowledged the leadership, officers, and soldiers of Military Region Six for their efforts and successes during the past training and combat year of 2024. Their achievements spanned various operational, training, administrative, and combat aspects.

Emphasizing Enhanced Efforts for 2025

Major General bin Aziz stressed the need for increased efforts from the units and leadership of Military Region Six in the current training and combat year of 2025. He highlighted that these efforts would enhance the performance and capabilities of the armed forces. Additionally, he called for a focus on military manufacturing to achieve self-sufficiency in meeting the needs of the battle against the Iran-backed Houthi terrorist group and any threats to national security and stability.

The Importance of Preparedness

The Major General emphasized that all members of the armed forces understand the magnitude of the battle they face. He asserted that military victory is the only option to defeat the terrorist organization that oppresses the Yemeni people. He urged readiness for this battle through training, preparation, and mobilization, especially for the areas under Houthi control.

Conference Objectives and Duration

On his part, Major General Haikal Hantaf, Commander of Military Region Six, explained that the conference would last for two days. It aims to analyze performance and evaluate achievements from the previous training and combat year of 2024. The conference seeks to improve and develop the capabilities of Military Region Six, enabling it to make informed decisions based on a clear military vision.

Addressing Current Challenges

Major General Hantaf noted that the annual analytical conference takes place under exceptional circumstances. Despite significant challenges and rapid developments in the region, he emphasized that Military Region Six and the armed forces must remain a strong force protecting the revolution, the republic, and national gains. He called for readiness to liberate the remaining parts of the homeland from the grip of the Iran-backed Houthi terrorist organization.
