The Chief of Staff attended the graduation of specialized courses at the Al-Nasr training camp in Marib.

The Chief of General Staff and Commander of Joint Operations, Lieutenant General Saghir bin Aziz, attended a graduation ceremony for specialized training courses in skills, artillery, sniping, and drone operations. This event took place at the Al-Nasr Training Camp in Marib, coinciding with the launch of the 2025 training, combat, and operational year.

High-Level Attendance and Greetings

The ceremony featured notable attendees, including the Head of Operations, Major General Khalid Al-Ashoul, and the Deputy Head of Training and Rehabilitation, Major General Ahmed Al-Absi. During the event, Lieutenant General bin Aziz conveyed greetings and congratulations from the President of the Presidential Leadership Council, Dr. Rashad Mohammed Alimi, and other council members. He also extended greetings from the government and the Minister of Defense.

Acknowledgment of Training Efforts

Lieutenant General bin Aziz praised the efforts of the Training and Rehabilitation Authority, training centers, instructors, and trainers in preparing military personnel. He emphasized the importance of building a generation equipped with knowledge and skills to fulfill their constitutional duties and national responsibilities with professionalism and competence. He expressed confidence that the graduates would serve as exemplary leaders in their future assignments, commending their discipline and dedication during training.

The Importance of Training in National Defense

The Chief of Staff stated, “Training and rehabilitation are the cornerstone of the national battle that the Yemeni people are fighting to restore their state, freedom, and dignity.” He highlighted the need to achieve peace, security, and stability in Yemen and the region, which can only be realized by defeating the Iran-backed Houthi terrorist organization. He stressed the importance of continuing combat readiness and building a solid foundation based on national and scientific principles to strengthen the unity and cohesion of the armed forces.

Commitment to National Security

Lieutenant General bin Aziz pointed out that the armed forces, in all their branches, are courageously and faithfully engaged in a battle for honor across the nation. They perform their sacred duties with discipline, professionalism, and a high sense of responsibility, serving as a beacon of hope and security for all Yemenis. He asserted that victory will come through the efforts of the army, security forces, and honorable resistance fighters. He reassured that the sacrifices made and the blood shed will not be in vain, as the Houthi militia and its Iranian agenda will ultimately collapse.

Support from Regional Allies

The Chief of Staff expressed gratitude for the support from the Coalition to Support Legitimacy, led by Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, alongside the Yemeni people and their leadership. He emphasized the importance of collaborating with partners and allies to enhance the capabilities of the army and security forces, ensuring they are prepared to fulfill their missions and contribute to regional security and counter-terrorism efforts.

Demonstration of Skills

During the ceremony, graduates showcased their combat skills in attack, assault, and sniping against simulated targets, reflecting the exceptional abilities they acquired during their training.
