Today, Sheikh Sultan Al-Barkani, the Speaker of the Yemeni Parliament, extended heartfelt condolences to Dr. Adnan Ali Salem Al-Baidh following the death of his father, the prominent activist Ali Salem Al-Baidh, former Vice President of the Presidential Council.

In his message, Al-Barkani expressed profound sorrow over the loss. He stated, “With hearts that believe in God’s decree, we received the painful news of your father’s passing. Ali Salem Al-Baidh was a significant figure in Yemeni politics, having dedicated decades to national service and making substantial sacrifices.”

Al-Baidh played a crucial role in Yemen’s contemporary history. He actively participated in the signing of the unification agreement with the late Ali Abdullah Saleh on May 22, 1990.
