Welcoming Remarks and National Unity

At the beginning of the meeting, President Alimi welcomed the leadership of the Consultation Committee and the political party secretaries. He emphasized their role as vital pillars of the Republican alliance and its legendary resilience against the Imamate project and its supporters.

Positive Shift in International Stance

President Alimi highlighted a significant positive shift in the international community’s stance. He attributed this change to the joint efforts aimed at correcting misleading narratives about the Yemeni issue. He noted that the legitimate government has emerged as a close partner to the international community, while the militias have been exposed as a persistent threat to global peace and security.

Strengthening National Cohesion

The President stated, “Together, we have presented the aspirations of the Yemeni people in the best possible light, advocating for security, peace, development, equality, and effective partnership with the international community.” He added, “Today, we possess encouraging elements to rebalance power on the ground, primarily through the consensus of all national components around their shared goals and common adversaries.”

Military Readiness and National Challenges

President Alimi praised the broad national alignment and the readiness of the armed forces and security services, as well as all military formations, to engage in the battle for liberation. He also addressed the economic, service, and financial challenges facing the country due to the ongoing halt of oil exports and fluctuations in the national currency. He discussed measures taken to contain these issues and improve public resources.

Acknowledgment of Regional Support

In this context, the President acknowledged the role of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. Their economic, developmental, and humanitarian interventions have been crucial in enabling the state to meet its essential obligations.

Security Efforts Against Houthi Threats

President Alimi commended the security agencies for their efforts to thwart Houthi militia attempts and their reckless plans to infiltrate the internal front, which involve explicit collaboration with terrorist organizations.

Ongoing National Initiatives

The meeting also reviewed the efforts of the Presidential Leadership Council and the government in addressing national issues over the past period. This includes the approval of a strategy for the upcoming phase and the completion of relevant political, diplomatic, and media directives.

Open to New Initiatives

In conclusion, President Alimi affirmed the Council’s openness to all realistic initiatives and visions that can manage new changes in favor of a state project that meets the aspirations of all citizens.

Dr. Yahya Al-Shaibi, Director of the Presidential Office, also attended the meeting.
