President Alimi Engages in Key Dialogue with Djibouti’s President

On Friday, Dr. Rashad Mohammed Alimi, the President of the Presidential Leadership Council, held a significant phone call with Ismail Omar Guelleh, the President of Djibouti. This conversation underscored the strong and brotherly relations between Yemen and Djibouti.

Strengthening Bilateral Relations

During the call, both leaders discussed ways to enhance cooperation across various sectors. They also addressed regional developments and shared concerns that impact both nations. This dialogue reflects a commitment to fostering deeper ties and mutual support.

Appreciation for Djibouti’s Support

President Alimi expressed profound gratitude on behalf of the Presidential Leadership Council and the Yemeni government. He acknowledged Djibouti’s unwavering support for the Yemeni people and their legitimate leadership. Alimi specifically highlighted the generous facilitation provided to Yemeni citizens residing in or transiting through Djibouti, emphasizing the historical and fraternal bonds between the two nations.

Djibouti’s Continued Commitment

In response, President Guelleh reaffirmed Djibouti’s support for the Presidential Leadership Council and the Yemeni government. He reiterated his country’s steadfast position alongside the Yemeni people in their pursuit of security, stability, and peace.
