Baghdad Welcomes Yemeni Leadership
President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Alimi, head of the Presidential Leadership Council, arrived in Baghdad, Iraq, alongside council members Othman Majali and Faraj Al-Bahssani. Their visit marks participation in the regular Arab Summit and the Arab Economic and Development Summit, both scheduled to commence today, Saturday.
Official Reception at Baghdad Airport
Upon arrival, the Yemeni delegation received a warm welcome at Baghdad Airport. Iraqi Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Fouad Hussein, along with Yemen’s Ambassador to Iraq, Khadr Murmash, and several embassy staff members, greeted them.
Key Discussions on Regional Challenges
During the summit, President Alimi will deliver Yemen’s address. He plans to engage with fellow leaders and heads of delegations to discuss the latest developments in national and regional contexts. The discussions will focus on enhancing Arab cooperation to address shared challenges effectively.
