Yemeni Army Launches Precision Strikes Against Houthi Positions

The Yemeni Army has executed a series of precise strikes targeting Houthi militia sites in the Hais front, located in the southern part of Al Hudaydah Governorate. These operations respond directly to recent attacks on civilian areas in the southern regions of the governorate, raising significant concerns among local residents.

Targeting Houthi Positions

According to reports from the Al-Zaraniq Brigades, the 13th Infantry Brigade (First Zaraniq) conducted thorough surveillance of Houthi fire sources. These attacks had been aimed at local farms and grazing areas in the northwest of Hais District. The army successfully delivered focused strikes that resulted in direct hits on the targeted sites, leading to the destruction of some of the militia’s military capabilities.

Houthi Crimes Against Civilians

In a related development, the Houthi militia launched a series of Katyusha rockets towards farms and grazing areas, instilling fear and panic among local residents. This act represents a blatant violation of international humanitarian law and highlights the ongoing crimes committed by the Houthis against civilians. Death of a Prominent Houthi Leader

In a separate announcement, the Tihama forces reported the death of a prominent Houthi leader, Zaid Abdullah Al-Hamis, during clashes in the Hais front. The statement clarified that Al-Hamis, a key field supervisor within the militia, died while overseeing combat operations in an area that has recently witnessed intense fighting.
