On Tuesday, the Armed Forces successfully repelled multiple offensive attempts by Iranian-backed Houthi militias across various combat fronts in Marib province. This coordinated response coincided with the targeting of hostile fire sources in several areas.
Military sources reported that the Armed Forces thwarted a Houthi infiltration attempt in the northern sector of Madghal. After tracking and monitoring the militia groups, the forces engaged them with precise fire, forcing the militants to retreat.
Additionally, the Armed Forces targeted a Houthi armored vehicle that was being used to attack their positions in the same area. This action resulted in the injury of four militia members and rendered the vehicle inoperable.
In the Al-Kasara front, the Armed Forces effectively dealt with a Houthi sniper position. They successfully hit the target with accuracy, neutralizing the enemy’s fire.
In the western front, Houthi militias continued their assaults on Armed Forces positions. They launched Katyusha rockets and mortar shells at sites in the Al-Mashjah sector. Simultaneously, they targeted military locations in the Al-Zour area with explosive drones.
The southern fronts also witnessed Houthi attacks, which the Armed Forces countered with appropriate weaponry. This response inflicted significant losses on the militia in both equipment and personnel.
In the Al-Airaf sector, the Armed Forces targeted a Houthi position, resulting in the death of one militia member and injuries to others, effectively silencing the source of enemy fire.
The Armed Forces also struck a Houthi bulldozer that was being used to construct fortifications in the same front, hitting it with precision and disabling it.
In the Al-Ghreeqat sector, they targeted a gathering of Houthi militants, causing substantial losses and neutralizing their hostile fire.
At the same time, the Armed Forces in the Al-Akd sector faced drone attacks. In response, they targeted Houthi positions and artillery sites in the Al-Balq sector, accurately hitting their targets and silencing enemy fire.
Meanwhile, reconnaissance and intelligence teams from the Armed Forces monitored Houthi movements. They observed the militia’s ongoing efforts to construct roads and establish fortifications in various combat fronts.
In summary, the Armed Forces demonstrated resilience and tactical effectiveness in countering Houthi aggression in Marib, maintaining control over critical areas and inflicting significant damage on the militia.
