On Monday, the Armed Forces successfully repelled an offensive attempt by the Iranian-backed Houthi militia targeting military positions in the eastern front of Al-Jawf province.
Military sources reported to September Net that units stationed in the Jawas sector of Al-Jawf Desert bravely confronted the Houthi assault. The Armed Forces engaged the militia with a range of medium and heavy weaponry, resulting in intense battles that lasted several hours. The Houthi forces suffered significant defeats during these confrontations.
The sources indicated that the fierce clashes inflicted substantial human and material losses on the Houthi militia. Under the relentless fire from the Armed Forces, the militia was forced to retreat and flee the battlefield.
The high combat readiness of the Armed Forces played a crucial role in thwarting any hostile movements from the Houthi militia. This successful defense underscores their capability to counteract any aggressive actions across the operational theater. The recent Houthi attack appears to be a desperate response to the severe blows and ongoing losses the militia has faced in recent days.
The Armed Forces’ resilience and strategic response continue to demonstrate their commitment to maintaining stability in the region. As the situation evolves, their ability to counter threats remains a critical factor in the ongoing conflict.
