On Thursday, the Armed Forces successfully intercepted and downed two drones belonging to the Houthi militia in the Jabal Habashi and Al-Anin fronts of Taiz Governorate. This operation highlights the ongoing efforts to counter aerial attacks launched by the militia against military sites and populated areas.
The first drone fell in the village of Al-Maqtan, located in the Al-Briha district of Jabal Habashi. Fortunately, it landed in an uninhabited area, resulting in no injuries or damage. The forces also managed to bring down a second drone in the Al-Anin front of the governorate.
This successful interception demonstrates the vigilance and readiness of the Armed Forces across various fronts. Their capability to respond effectively to the Houthi militia’s attempts to use drones for targeting military and civilian locations remains a top priority.
Accompanying this report, a video shows fragments of one of the downed drones, while an attached image captures the wreckage of the second drone intercepted in the Al-Anin front.
