Approximately 100 members of the Houthi terrorist militia died, and 150 others sustained injuries during offensive operations conducted by the armed forces in the Taiz axis, supported by popular resistance. This action is part of the ongoing “Dawn of Yemen” operation, which continues across several battlefronts.
According to the media center for the Taiz axis, the armed forces executed five offensive operations in the past 24 hours. These operations took place in the Al-Arbaeen front north of the city, Al-Aqroud south, Al-Anin, and Jabal Habashi to the west, as well as in the Al-Bayrin area on the outskirts of Al-Kadhah.
The armed forces achieved the following:
On the Al-Aqroud front, the forces pushed the Houthi militia from several positions, destroying a tank and a vehicle, seizing a pickup truck, and inflicting casualties among the militia.
In the Al-Anin front of Jabal Habashi district, the forces launched a swift attack that caused human and material losses to the militia. An offensive operation in the Al-Bayrin area targeted Houthi gatherings and equipment, resulting in the destruction of a vehicle and the death of several militia members, while others were captured.
The Taiz axis forces also carried out a series of offensive operations in frontline areas of Jabal Habashi, making progress in some locations as militia members fled. Military operations continue at a high pace.
Other fronts experienced intermittent clashes and artillery shelling targeting militia gatherings and vehicles. This included sites in Farzat Sana’a east of the city and the Black Hill in the Al-Dabab front, along with an attack on a tank in Safatil northeast of Taiz.
