The Armed Forces announced today, Thursday, that they executed more than 1250 precision strikes in the past 24 hours. These operations targeted military sites and capabilities belonging to the Houthi terrorist militias. The Armed Forces utilized warplanes, drones, artillery, rocket launchers, and sniper units as part of the “Dawn of Yemen” operation across various fronts and axes.
Colonel Majid Al-Nazili, the official spokesperson for the Armed Forces, stated in a press release that initial field estimates indicate the neutralization of approximately 700 militia members. Additionally, the operations resulted in the destruction and damage of over 150 military vehicles and combat equipment.
Al-Nazili added that the strikes concentrated on front-line defense lines, fortifications, trenches, sources of fire, observation and reconnaissance points, advanced command and control sites, areas of troop concentration, and supply transport means.
The spokesperson highlighted that these qualitative operations achieved direct results. They dismantled the militia’s defensive lines, shattered their formations and offensive capabilities, and destroyed their fortifications, trenches, and combat points. This was particularly evident in the Taiz front, where our forces continue to deplete the militia’s resources and disrupt their advances.
Al-Nazili clarified that the operations targeted legitimate military objectives in accordance with international humanitarian law. The Armed Forces continue to carry out their missions following the operational plan while ensuring necessary precautions to protect civilians and civilian objects.
