The Armed Forces executed 736 precise and direct targeting operations within the last 24 hours as part of “Fajr Yemen” (Yemen Dawn). These operations targeted command centers, gatherings of the Houthi terrorist militias, their reinforcements, weapon depots, artillery positions, fortifications, and supply lines.
Colonel Majid Al-Nazili, the official spokesperson for the Armed Forces, stated in a press release that the military targeted the command and control center, heavy weapon positions, and weapon depots located in the abandoned Sofitel hotel in Taiz Governorate. The militias had converted this hotel into a monitoring point and a source of fire to threaten residential areas and maintain a siege on the city. Simultaneously, the Armed Forces conducted raids and offensive operations that contributed to suppressing these fire sources.
The operations resulted in neutralizing approximately 307 militia leaders and field elements. Additionally, the Armed Forces destroyed or incapacitated a total of 68 vehicles, military equipment, and heavy and medium weapons.
Colonel Al-Nazili emphasized that the Armed Forces continue to apply operational pressure on militia formations with high efficiency and combat will. He noted that military movements and reinforcements remain under continuous surveillance and monitoring. The Armed Forces will address and target these movements based on operational data, aiming to limit their impact on the course of the battle. They remain committed to the principles of international humanitarian law and take necessary measures to protect civilians and civilian objects.
