The Armed Forces announced today, Sunday, that they executed 1,326 precise targeting operations against gatherings of the Iranian-backed Houthi terrorist militias, their vehicles, fortifications, and fire sources within the last 24 hours as part of “Operation Yemen Dawn.”
Colonel Majid Al-Nazili, the official spokesperson for the Armed Forces, stated in a press release that the military expanded its offensive operations under “Operation Yemen Dawn.” According to initial assessments, these operations neutralized approximately 370 militia members and destroyed or incapacitated dozens of military vehicles and equipment.
Al-Nazili explained that the Armed Forces on the Marib front capitalized on the results of the artillery preparation and advanced their attack towards designated targets. Meanwhile, warplanes and drones continued to support the advancing fronts by striking militia movements, reinforcements, and fire positions, thereby clearing the way for assault units.
He noted that the field progress, combined with coordinated operational pressure on the southern and western fronts, restricted the militias’ ability to maneuver and transfer reserves. This strategy prevented them from reorganizing their combat formations across the fronts.
In Taiz, Al-Nazili announced that the Armed Forces, supported by popular resistance, seized several positions and recovered heavy weapons and military equipment. This occurred simultaneously with strikes against militia reinforcements and the dismantling of their defensive positions.
The Armed Forces spokesperson confirmed that all targeting operations exclusively focused on legitimate military objectives. They ensured thorough verification and took necessary precautions to protect civilians and civilian assets.
