Tarik Saleh Inspects Solar Energy Projects in Al Hudaydah

Tarik Saleh, a member of the Presidential Leadership Council, recently visited the solar energy projects in the districts of Al Khawkhah and Hays, located in southern Al Hudaydah Governorate. This visit forms part of his ongoing efforts to monitor vital development projects along the western coast of Yemen. During his trip, he also toured the old market in Al Khawkhah, where he engaged with local residents and extended his congratulations on the upcoming month of Ramadan.

Progress on Solar Energy Projects

During the inspection, Saleh received a detailed briefing from the supervising engineers regarding the progress of the solar energy projects. The teams have completed site leveling for both projects and are preparing to launch the construction phase. This advancement marks a significant step toward enhancing the region’s energy infrastructure.

Encouragement for Enhanced Efforts

Saleh commended the hard work of the teams involved in these projects. He urged them to intensify their efforts and accelerate the pace of work in accordance with the approved technical specifications. His call aims to ensure that both solar energy projects meet their scheduled completion dates.

Acknowledgment of UAE Support

In his remarks, Saleh expressed gratitude to the United Arab Emirates for its generous support of these initiatives. He highlighted the noticeable progress in the electrical energy sector along the western coast, emphasizing a shift toward reliance on clean and sustainable energy sources.
