Taiz Security Committee Discusses Efforts to Thwart Houthi Militia Plans

Confronting Security Challenges

In a crucial meeting held on Monday, under the chairmanship of Taiz Governor Nabil Shamsan, the Security Committee of Taiz Province delved into various security issues, with a primary focus on countering the destabilizing plans of the Houthi terrorist militia. These plans aim to undermine the security and stability of the region, showcasing the militia’s desperate attempts to breach the internal front.

The session, attended by notable figures including the Deputy Governor for Defense and Security, Major General Abdul Karim Al-Sabri, and the Chief of Staff of the Axis, Major General Abdul Aziz Al-Majidi, along with leaders of military priorities and security agencies in the province, addressed directives from His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Al-Alimi, President of the Presidential Leadership Council. These directives encompassed a range of issues, urging the Security Committee members to rise to the level of challenges, work with dedication and sincerity, and address any disturbances targeting public life and tranquility.

Enhanced Vigilance and Preparedness

Governor Shamsan emphasized the necessity of vigilance and security readiness to thwart the destructive schemes of the Houthi terrorist militia targeting the province and its residents across various fronts. This call to action highlights the ongoing threat posed by the militia and the importance of maintaining a state of alertness.

Military Fronts and Security Conditions

The Chief of Staff of the Axis briefed on the conditions at the military fronts, noting the militia’s continuous targeting of residential areas, civilians, and military sites. He affirmed the National Army’s heroes’ resolute defense against all failed attempts, responding appropriately to the militia’s actions.

Additionally, the Director of Police in the province, Brigadier Mansour Al-Akhali, presented a report on the security situation and the indicators of the security campaign to prevent the carrying of weapons. This initiative aims to confront breaches, establish order, and uphold the law, showcasing the comprehensive approach taken to enhance security and stability in Taiz.

This meeting marks a significant step in the efforts to safeguard Taiz against the Houthi militia’s terrorist activities, reflecting the commitment of local authorities to protect their citizens and maintain peace in the region.
