Overcoming Challenges

Despite these challenges, the center has become a pride of the governorate, achieving remarkable accomplishments and providing high-quality medical services to citizens from various provinces.

The Importance of Community Participation

Shamsan stressed the necessity of community participation in achieving successes and aspirations, providing the best service, and localizing treatment by leveraging competencies and capabilities. He commended the efforts of the Heart Center’s management in organizing the conference and all the supporting entities for this unique scientific event.

Ministry’s Support and Conference Achievements

Deputy Minister of Public Health and Population, Dr. Abdullah Dahan, confirmed the ministry’s readiness to adopt the conference’s outcomes and recommendations and translate them into tangible reality. Meanwhile, the conference president and director of the Heart Center, Dr. Abu Zarr Al-Ghafari, outlined the center’s achievements with its distinguished staff and contributions from Taiz University. He noted that the conference would discuss 82 scientific papers and research over three days, with 600 doctors and consultants participating. Additionally, the event includes workshops, surgical operations at the center, and a training program targeting 250 doctors, underlining the critical role of community participation in achieving health sector successes.
