King Salman Relief Center Empowers 90 Women with Professional Tools in Marib

The King Salman Relief and Humanitarian Aid Center has delivered professional tools to 90 women trainees today. This initiative is part of a vocational empowerment project aimed at improving livelihoods, implemented by the Good Coalition for Humanitarian Relief in coordination with the Technical and Vocational Education Office in Marib Governorate.

Celebrating New Graduates

During the delivery event, Dr. Abdul-Rabih Muftah, the Deputy Governor, expressed his joy at the graduation of a new cohort of women qualified in various professions. He emphasized the project’s significance in transforming families from dependency to productivity. Furthermore, he highlighted its role in supplying the job market with essential skills and enhancing community development.

Economic Empowerment for Women

Dr. Muftah underscored the importance of economically empowering women, which contributes to improving their families’ living conditions. He expressed hope that the trainees would become successful entrepreneurs. He also praised the humanitarian and developmental efforts of the King Salman Center and its effective partnership with the Good Coalition.

Commitment to Youth Development

Naji Al-Hanashi, Director of the Technical and Vocational Education Office, noted that the project marks a crucial step in training young men and women. He assured attendees of the sector’s readiness to provide all necessary support for its success.

Addressing Market Needs

Mohsen Al-Hadhrami, Director of the Good Coalition, pointed out that the second cohort’s focus on women responds to labor market needs. The initiative aims to enhance women’s roles in production, innovation, and entrepreneurship.

Comprehensive Training Programs

The beneficiaries received professional and vocational training over 184 days in various fields. These included food industries, gift wrapping, incense and perfume production, sewing, photography, and a specialized course in entrepreneurship.

This initiative not only empowers women but also strengthens the local economy and fosters community growth. The King Salman Relief Center continues to play a vital role in humanitarian efforts and development in the region.
