Today, the Presidential Leadership Council issued Decision No. 161 for the year 2025. This decision aligns with the constitution, legal frameworks, and transitional references. It includes the appointment of several deputy ministers across various ministries.

Appointments of Deputy Ministers

The first article of the decision outlines the following appointments:

  1. Dr. Saad Mohammed Saad Mohammed – Deputy Minister of Justice
  2. Dr. Mohammed Sari Ali Basarda – Deputy Minister of Legal Affairs and Human Rights
  3. Mujahid Abu Shawarb Issa bin Afrar – Deputy Minister of Water and Environment
  4. Anwar Ali Yahya Hassan Al-Amri – Deputy Minister of Awqaf and Guidance
  5. Moein Mahmoud Saleh Ahmed – Deputy Minister of Local Administration

Implementation of the Decision

The second article of the decision states that it will take effect immediately upon publication in the official gazette. This swift implementation underscores the council’s commitment to enhancing governance and efficiency within the government.
