Riyadh – Saba News: On Thursday evening, President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Alimi, the head of the Presidential Leadership Council, reached out to Minister of Youth and Sports Nayef Al-Bakri and President of the Yemen Football Association Ahmed Saleh Al-Essi. During this phone call, he extended his heartfelt congratulations to the national football team for their remarkable qualification for the 2027 Asian Cup. This achievement is especially noteworthy as it marks only the second time in history that the team has reached this significant stage, following their decisive victory over Lebanon with a score of 2-0.
