Yemen's Prime Minister Responds to Gas Station Explosion in Aden

In a proactive response to the recent gas station explosion in the Mansoura district of Aden, Yemen’s Prime Minister, Dr. Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak, conducted a field visit to assess the damage and the immediate aftermath of the incident. The explosion, which occurred on Friday evening, has resulted in several fatalities and injuries, prompting urgent governmental action.

Immediate Actions and Investigations Initiated

Prime Minister bin Mubarak personally visited the site of the explosion, which was caused by a tanker at a gas station at the Hashed – Al Tisini intersection in Mansoura. He reviewed preliminary reports and listened to the measures taken by the relevant authorities and the efforts of the civil defense teams to contain the fire. Emphasizing the need for a swift response, he directed an urgent investigation into the causes of the explosion and called for the development of emergency plans and preventative measures to avoid similar incidents in the future.

Engaging with Local Authorities and Citizens

The Prime Minister also heard testimonies from local authority officials and residents living near the station, who shared their experiences of the explosion and its impact on the community.
