On Saturday, pilgrims at the Holy Mosque actively participated in the sacred ritual of throwing stones, marking the third day of Tashreeq and the final days of Hajj. They gathered at the Jamarat facility to fulfill this important act of worship, commencing with the small stone pillar, followed by the middle pillar, and concluding with the large pillar, in accordance with the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). The atmosphere was spiritually uplifting, characterized by tranquility and peace.
According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the Jamarat facility experienced smooth crowd movement from the early morning hours. Effective crowd management plans and a comprehensive organizational structure facilitated the movement of pilgrims between the throwing paths and exits. An advanced operational system was implemented to account for crowd densities and timing, ensuring that the guests of Allah could perform their rituals safely and efficiently.
Security, health, and service initiatives were integrated seamlessly around the Jamarat facility. Field teams, guidance centers, and emergency services were strategically deployed to enhance the safety of the pilgrims. These efforts significantly improved the quality of services provided to attendees during their spiritual journey across the holy sites.
As the stone-throwing ritual concludes on the last day of Tashreeq, many pilgrims finalize their rituals in Mina before proceeding to the Grand Mosque for the Farewell Tawaf. This spiritual scene exemplifies the comprehensive system established by the Kingdom to serve the guests of Allah, enabling them to perform their rituals with ease and peace of mind.
The operational and organizational successes observed during the pilgrims’ movement throughout Tashreeq reflect the effective collaboration among relevant authorities and the efficiency of the implemented field plans for crowd management and transportation. These achievements align with the Kingdom’s ongoing goals to enhance the services provided to the guests of Allah, enriching their spiritual experience during the Hajj season.
