This prestigious event focuses on internal security and safety and is organized by the Ministry of Interior. High-ranking officials, including ministers of interior from friendly nations, security leaders, and experts from around the globe, will attend. The announcement was made during a press conference held by the Milipol Qatar Committee on Sunday, October 27, 2024, which included committee members, sponsors, and representatives from local, regional, and international media.

Emphasis on Technology in Security

Lieutenant General Nasser bin Fahd Al Thani, Chairman of the Milipol Qatar Committee, stated that this year’s event adopts the theme “Technology in the Service of Security.” This theme reflects Qatar’s commitment to enhancing advanced technological capabilities to address the growing security challenges in today’s world. It aligns with Qatar’s National Vision 2030, aiming to meet the nation’s security requirements.

Comprehensive Event Featuring Innovations and Seminars

The Milipol Qatar Committee has collaborated with French company Comexposium to ensure a comprehensive event showcasing the latest innovations and technologies in security. Over three days, attendees will participate in seminars addressing various security issues, including cybersecurity, civil defense, airport security, and border protection. This year’s program features 15 presentations.

Record Participation and International Presence

Lieutenant General Al Thani confirmed that all preparations are complete for a new and distinguished edition of this global event. More than 250 international and national companies specializing in internal security and safety will participate, alongside six major international pavilions. The exhibition will cover an area of 23,000 square meters, including an outdoor space to showcase the Ministry of Interior’s fleet of vehicles.

This edition will also see the largest number of official delegations, exceeding 350, including high-profile figures. This turnout underscores the exhibition’s international significance and offers opportunities for direct engagement with top-level officials, military leaders, and representatives from government agencies, facilitating contracts and agreements with companies.

Focus on Artificial Intelligence in Security

An exceptional international conference on artificial intelligence will take place over two days, focusing on “Artificial Intelligence for Internal Security and Safety” on October 29 and 30 at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center. Esteemed global experts will discuss innovations in artificial intelligence and its ethical implications. The sessions will cover four main themes: smart technologies, AI in security operations, AI ethics, and security opportunities and challenges in the realm of artificial intelligence. This positions Qatar as a leader in discussing these complex issues from various security and legal perspectives.

Some exhibitors will launch new systems and solutions. The exhibition will also provide manufacturers of internal security and safety equipment with opportunities to meet decision-makers and security specialists for knowledge exchange.
