The General Authority for Civil Aviation and Meteorology’s Weather Forecast and Early Warning Center predicts hot and humid weather for coastal regions and nearby areas this Saturday. The forecast indicates partly cloudy skies with a chance of scattered rain, which may include thunderstorms, particularly over parts of Socotra Archipelago and the western and eastern coasts, as well as the adjacent inland areas. Winds will remain light to moderate.
According to the daily weather bulletin, which the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) received, the mountainous areas will experience cloudy to partly cloudy conditions. There is a possibility of varying intensity thunderstorms accompanied by hail over the western highlands, stretching from Saada in the north to Lahij in the south. This weather pattern will also extend eastward, affecting parts of Abyan, Shabwa, Hadramout, and Al-Mahra. In contrast, desert and plateau areas will remain dry and hot during the day, with cooler temperatures at night and in the early morning. Winds in these regions will be moderate to active, stirring up dust and sand.

The center warns citizens in areas expecting rainfall to avoid riverbeds and valleys during thunderstorms. Additionally, residents in desert and coastal regions should limit direct sun exposure for extended periods. The center urges coastal residents to take necessary precautions against humid weather conditions.
In its daily marine bulletin, the Weather Forecast and Early Warning Center anticipates calm sea conditions along the coasts of Al-Mahra, Hadramout, Shabwa, Abyan, Aden, Bab al-Mandab, and the western coasts, as well as the Socotra Archipelago. The sea in the Gulf of Aden will also remain calm, while conditions in the Arabian Sea and the Red Sea will be moderate.
