Weather Forecast for Coastal and Inland Areas
On Sunday, the General Authority for Civil Aviation and Meteorology’s Weather Forecast and Early Warning Center predicted that coastal regions and nearby areas would experience partly cloudy, extremely hot, and humid weather. There is a possibility of scattered rain accompanied by thunderstorms along parts of the western coast. Winds will remain light to moderate in the southern and eastern coasts, while strong winds will affect the Socotra Archipelago.
Conditions in Mountainous Regions and Interior Plateaus
The center indicated that the weather in the mountainous areas will range from partly cloudy to cloudy. Rainfall of varying intensity, along with thunderstorms and hail, may occur from Saada in the north to Lahij in the south. This includes the areas of Al-Dhale, Al-Bayda, and the highlands of Abyan, as well as the interior plateaus in Al-Mahra, Hadramout, Shabwa, Marib, and Al-Jawf.

Desert and hilly areas will experience extremely hot conditions during the day and moderate temperatures at night. Moderate winds will pick up during the day, stirring up dust and sand.

- Light to moderate waves in the coasts of Shabwa.
- Moderate waves in the coasts of Al-Mahra and Hadramout.
- Rough seas in the Socotra Archipelago. The Red Sea will have calm waves, while the Gulf of Aden will experience light to moderate waves, and the Arabian Sea will be rough.
The center advised fishermen and ship captains in Socotra, the Arabian Sea, and the eastern coasts to be cautious of rough seas, high waves, and strong winds.
