The Meteorological and Early Warning Center has forecasted that hot to extremely hot weather will persist in coastal, eastern, and southern areas, including the Socotra Archipelago. Residents can expect humid conditions with partly cloudy skies. Moderate winds will intensify around Socotra and the southern coasts.
In the mountainous regions, the center predicts partly cloudy skies with moderate temperatures. There is a possibility of heavy thunderstorms accompanied by hail in the western and southwestern highlands. This weather pattern may extend to Lahij, Abyan, Shabwa, Hadramaut, and Al-Mahra.
The desert and plateau areas will experience very hot and dry conditions during the day, while nights will be mild. Thunderstorms may occur in parts of Al-Mahra, Hadramaut, Shabwa, and Al-Jawf. Additionally, active winds will stir up dust in these regions.
The center reiterates its warnings to fishermen and ship captains in the eastern and southern coasts, Gulf of Aden, Socotra, and the Arabian Sea regarding rough sea conditions, high waves, and strong winds.
