Meteorologists predict extreme heat and thunderstorms in the highlands.

Weather Forecast: Hot Conditions and Thunderstorms Expected
The Meteorological Center has issued a forecast indicating that hot to extremely hot weather will persist in coastal and desert regions. The forecast also predicts humid and partly cloudy conditions, with a chance of scattered rain across parts of the eastern and western coasts, as well as the Socotra Archipelago. Moderate winds will likely strengthen along the southern coasts.
Mountainous Regions Forecast
In the mountainous areas, expect partly cloudy and moderately warm weather. There is a possibility of heavy thunderstorms accompanied by hail in the western and southwestern slopes. This weather may extend to parts of Lahij, Abyan, Shabwa, and Hadramout.

The center urges residents in coastal and desert areas to avoid direct sun exposure during midday hours and to remain cautious of rising humidity levels. Additionally, those living in areas expecting rain should follow safety precautions to mitigate risks from floods, lightning, and strong winds.

- Al-Mahra – Hadramout: Moderate to rough waves

The center has reiterated its warnings to fishermen and ship captains in the eastern coasts, Gulf of Aden, and around the Socotra Archipelago regarding rough sea conditions, high waves, and strong winds.
