The General Authority for Civil Aviation and Meteorology’s Weather Forecast and Early Warning Center has issued a report predicting ongoing warm and relatively dusty weather in coastal areas and their vicinity. This Saturday, temperatures will remain high during the day and moderate at night. There is a possibility of scattered rain showers in parts of the Socotra Archipelago and eastern coasts. Winds will be light to moderate along southern and western coasts, while eastern coasts and the Socotra Archipelago may experience stronger winds.
According to the daily weather bulletin, which the Yemen News Agency (Saba) received, the mountainous regions will see partially cloudy to cloudy skies. There is a chance of varying intensity thunderstorms, occasionally accompanied by lightning, particularly in the western highlands from Saada in the north to Lahij in the south. Additionally, parts of the highlands and plateaus in Abyan, Shabwa, and Hadramout will experience similar weather. The desert and plateau areas will also remain relatively dusty, hot during the day, and mild at night, with moderate to active winds stirring up dust and sand.

The center urges everyone to follow necessary guidelines to prevent heat-related illnesses and avoid direct sun exposure.
In its daily marine bulletin, the Weather Forecast and Early Warning Center predicts calm sea conditions along the coasts of Abyan, Aden, Bab al-Mandab, and western shores. However, the seas off Al-Mahra, Hadramout, and Shabwa will be moderately choppy, while the waters around the Socotra Archipelago will be rough. The center also warns that the Red Sea will experience light waves, the Gulf of Aden will have moderate waves, and the Arabian Sea will be rough. Fishermen and sea-goers near the Socotra Archipelago and eastern coasts should exercise caution due to turbulent sea conditions, high waves, and strong winds.
