The Meteorological and Early Warning Center has issued a weather forecast for today, Friday, predicting hot and humid conditions along coastal areas. Residents in parts of Al-Mahra and Hadhramaut should be prepared for possible fog formation. Additionally, scattered rain showers may occur along the western and southern coasts and plains.
The center anticipates heavy thunderstorms in the mountainous regions stretching from Saada to Abyan. Meanwhile, desert areas will experience extreme heat, with temperatures ranging from 38 to 45 degrees Celsius.
The Meteorological Center has urged citizens to exercise caution around flood channels and during thunderstorms. Direct exposure to sunlight can pose health risks, so residents should take necessary precautions. Fishermen and boat captains are also advised to be wary of rough seas and high waves along the coasts of Socotra, Al-Mahra, Hadhramaut, and the Arabian Sea.
