The Executive Office of Marib held its regular meeting in May, presided over by Deputy Governor Ali Mohammed Al-Fatimi. The agenda was centered on the annual performance reports from the Health and Population Office as well as the Higher Institute of Health Sciences. Additionally, the meeting focused on emerging security challenges and service-related issues within the province.
During the session, which included the participation of Deputy Minister of Education Dr. Ali Al-Abab and various provincial officials, Deputy Governor Al-Fatimi underscored the significance of reinforcing security and stability in Marib. He asserted that local authorities would not condone any actions that jeopardize public safety or the interests of citizens. Al-Fatimi commended the vigilance of military units and security agencies for their responsible management of rights and property protection.
Furthermore, Al-Fatimi directed executive offices to actively participate in initiatives related to Arab Traffic Week. This endeavor is aimed at raising public awareness about traffic regulations to reduce accidents and associated losses.
Dr. Ahmed Al-Abadi, the Director General of the Health Office, presented the annual performance report, which detailed the current health and epidemiological landscape, along with significant achievements and challenges faced in the sector. Dr. Mohammed Muftah, Dean of the Higher Institute of Health Sciences, addressed the educational processes and outlined necessary developments aimed at enhancing training and improving health outcomes, particularly in light of the existing shortage of medical facilities.
The meeting also tackled several emerging security and service issues. Participants agreed on implementing appropriate measures to address these challenges, with the goal of bolstering stability and enhancing the quality of services provided in the province.
