His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Muhammad Al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, sent a message of condolence and sympathy to veteran Lieutenant General Ali Muhammad Hashem on the passing of his wife, the former Minister of Human Rights, Dr. Waheba Ghaleb Fareh, who passed away after a life full of contributions to the service and advancement of her nation and people.

On behalf of himself, the council members, and the government, the President expressed his heartfelt condolences and sincere sympathy to General Ali Hashem, the children of the deceased, her family members, colleagues, and students during this painful time.

The President praised the virtues of the deceased and her significant contributions to the nation through her academic, political, and administrative activities, holding various leadership positions in the state, most notably as the first female Minister of Human Rights in the country. She was also the first president of a private Yemeni university.
