Yemeni Leadership Focuses on Development and Unity in Hadhramaut

In a recent move to assess and bolster the ongoing development projects in Hadhramaut, Yemen, Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, the President of the Presidential Leadership Council, made a phone call to the Governor of Hadhramaut, Mabkhout Mubarak bin Madi. This conversation highlights the government’s commitment to improving the living conditions of its citizens amidst challenging circumstances.

Strengthening Service Projects and Local Governance

During the call, Governor Mubarak bin Madi provided President Al-Alimi with an update on the progress of various service projects and plans aimed at alleviating the hardships faced by the residents of Hadhramaut. The discussions covered key sectors such as energy, education, and water, emphasizing the enhancement of local authorities’ capabilities to respond to the recurring climate changes effectively.

President Al-Alimi commended the local authority’s efforts, along with the contributions of political entities, social figures, members of the Parliament and Shura Council, scholars, youth and women’s sectors, and the armed forces and security personnel. Their unified efforts are crucial for the development of Hadhramaut, ensuring the region’s representation in local and central decision-making processes.

National Commitment to Service Delivery and Empowerment

The President reaffirmed the state leadership’s dedication to supporting the local authority’s endeavors to meet the service demands of Hadhramaut’s citizens and their political and social components. This commitment is part of a broader strategy to respond to the aspirations of the people in liberated provinces, enabling them to manage their local affairs, access essential services, and improve their livelihoods that have been severely impacted by the Houthi militia’s war, backed by the Iranian regime.

This conversation between President Al-Alimi and Governor Mubarak bin Madi underscores the Yemeni government’s focus on fostering unity, development, and the well-being of its citizens, despite the ongoing challenges.
