Strengthening Social Unity and National Security: A Call to Action from Marib's Governor

In a significant gathering aimed at bolstering social cohesion and resilience in the face of challenges, Sultan Al-Arada, the Governor of Marib and a member of the Presidential Leadership Council, emphasized the critical need for unity, cooperation, and steadfastness to maintain national security and protect the country’s achievements. This meeting, which brought together tribal leaders from the Wadi Ubaidah tribes, was also attended by high-ranking military and police officials, underscoring the importance of the event.

Tribal Solidarity Against Threats

During the expansive tribal meeting, a tribal document signed by prominent sheikhs and dignitaries of the Ubaidah tribes was presented. This document affirmed their unwavering support for the state in safeguarding facilities and pursuing wanted individuals, as well as their rejection of destructive elements. This gesture highlights the tribes’ commitment to standing with the government against any threats to the nation’s stability.

Confronting External Threats Together

The discussions also touched upon the collaboration between Houthi militias and terrorist elements aimed at destabilizing the country and targeting its vital infrastructure, which belongs to the Yemeni people. Al-Arada called for vigilance and unity to counter these destructive plans and to support the military and security institutions in protecting public and private properties, as well as deterring those threatening the nation’s security.

Praising Tribal Unity

Al-Arada lauded the tribal unity in combating negative phenomena and rejecting outlaws, stressing the importance of fostering unity, tolerance, brotherhood, and resolving tribal disputes peacefully to prevent any attempts to incite discord.

Military and Security Support

General Saghir bin Aziz, Chief of the General Staff, commended the tribes for their support of the armed forces in the national battle to restore the republic and state institutions. He assured that the armed forces and security would fulfill their constitutional and legal duties in tracking down lawbreakers, enhancing security and stability, and protecting vital installations in Marib, which has become a haven for Yemenis and a model of state presence and law and order.

Unwavering Support from Tribal Leaders

Tribal leaders and dignitaries from Wadi Ubaidah, in their speeches, reaffirmed their steadfast and principled stance in supporting the army and security forces. They stood united against the Houthi militias, renewing their endorsement of the measures taken by the armed forces and security to protect facilities and the interests of the Yemeni people.

This collective stance against threats and the commitment to national security and stability underscores the importance of unity and cooperation among all segments of Yemeni society to face challenges and ensure the country’s prosperity and peace.
