Leadership Council Head meets with Hadhramaut’s Security Committee leadership.

President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, the head of the Presidential Leadership Council and the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, met today with Sheikh Osman Majali, a member of the Council, and the security committee of Hadhramaut province. The meeting, also attended by the governor of Hadhramaut, Mabkhout Mubarak bin Madi, the head of the province’s security committee, focused on security issues within the region.

At the beginning of the meeting, President Al-Alimi requested a minute of silence to honor the martyrs of the armed forces, security personnel, military and security formations, the popular resistance, and all those who have sacrificed their lives for freedom, the republican system, and those who have fallen victim to the Houthi terrorist machine supported by the Iranian regime, along with other terrorist organizations associated with it.

President Al-Alimi, on behalf of himself and the council members, expressed profound pride and appreciation for the members of the armed forces and security in Hadhramaut for their pivotal role in enhancing the security and stability of the province, protecting national achievements, public tranquility, and attracting vital capital and investments needed in all fields within Hadhramaut.

Furthermore, President Al-Alimi renewed his praise and gratitude for the supportive stance of the allies in the Coalition to Support Legitimacy, led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. He acknowledged their continuous support in aiding Yemen and its people, upholding its constitutional legitimacy, and ensuring the cohesion of state institutions and their fulfillment of inevitable commitments.

During the meeting, the President and council member listened to briefings from the governor of Hadhramaut and military and security leaders about the situation in the province, approved plans to enhance the performance of law enforcement agencies, and the required support to bolster the achieved security and military successes on various levels.

The meeting was also attended by the Director of the Office of the Supreme Commander, Major General Ahmed Al-Aqili.
