The Civil Status and Civil Registry Authority has officially launched the electronic civil registry system in the Hadhramaut Coast region. This initiative marks a significant advancement in the delivery of public services.
Colonel Mohammed Al-Mazafari, the Director General of Legal Affairs at the Ministry of Interior, emphasized that the introduction of the electronic system represents a major step toward improving the quality of services offered to citizens. The new system simplifies the process of issuing personal documents, ensures data accuracy, and enhances institutional performance.
In addition, Brigadier General Abdulaziz Al-Jabri, Deputy Director of Security, highlighted that the activation of the electronic civil registry system, part of the broader digital transformation initiative, will significantly change operational methods within civil registry departments. He assured that the new system will effectively speed up procedures, simplify transactions, and improve data accuracy. These enhancements will positively impact the efficiency and quality of services provided to citizens.
