King Salman Humanitarian Aid Center Team Inspects Health Projects in Taiz

In a significant move towards enhancing healthcare services, a team from the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center recently undertook an inspection tour of several of its health projects implemented in Taiz Governorate. This visit underscores the center’s commitment to improving the health infrastructure and services in the region.

Advancements in Prosthetic Care

One of the key highlights of the team’s visit was the inspection of the Prosthetic Limbs Center in the governorate. The team closely observed the center’s operational stages, from the initial reception of patients to the production and manufacturing of prosthetic limbs. The visit also included an evaluation of the services provided for the rehabilitation of wounded and amputee patients. The center’s initiatives aim to reintegrate these individuals into society and equip them with the necessary skills and physical therapy for a functional recovery.

Enhancing Hospital Services

Furthermore, the King Salman Center team visited several medical institutions, including the Revolution Hospital Authority, the Cardiovascular Center, and the Republican Hospital. During these visits, they reviewed the support provided by the center to these healthcare facilities. The assistance encompasses medical beds, devices, and supplies, in addition to ventilators and other essential medical equipment. These contributions are part of the center’s project to strengthen the second health system, in collaboration with the World Health Organization.

This initiative is a testament to the center’s dedication to supporting and enhancing healthcare services in Taiz. By providing essential medical supplies and equipment, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center is playing a crucial role in improving the quality of healthcare for beneficiaries. This effort not only aids in the immediate recovery and rehabilitation of patients but also contributes to the long-term development of the region’s healthcare infrastructure.
