Government Denounces Systematic Targeting

The Jordanian government has issued a strong condemnation of Israel’s systematic attacks on health facilities in Gaza. The latest incident involved the storming of the Kamal Adwan Hospital in the northern region of the territory. This escalation has raised significant concerns regarding the safety of civilians and medical staff in the area.

Sufian al-Qudah, the official spokesperson for the Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, described these attacks as clear violations of international law and humanitarian principles. He specifically referenced the 1949 Geneva Convention, which protects civilians during wartime. Al-Qudah emphasized that Israel bears responsibility for ensuring the safety of both civilians and medical personnel operating within the hospital.

Al-Qudah highlighted that the assault on Kamal Adwan Hospital and its medical staff represents a serious threat to vital infrastructure necessary for the survival of the northern Gaza population.
