Early Thursday morning, Israeli forces arrested 12 Palestinian citizens during extensive raids in the towns of Haris, Kifl Haris, and Deir Istiya in Salfit Province, located in the northern West Bank.
According to the Palestinian news agency Wafa, Israeli forces stormed several homes and detained individuals from Haris, including: Fad Abdul Latif Dawood, Nayef Abdul Souf, Ahmad Muslih Klayb, Omar Samer Ahmad Abu Ali, and Muhammad Bassam Dawood. Additionally, Jlal Dawood Ubeid was arrested from the neighboring town of Deir Istiya.
In Kifl Haris, the arrests included: Yahya Abdul Fattah Al-As’ad, Ahmad Jaber Abu Ya’qub, Ibrahim Muhammad Abu Ya’qub, Khalil Fouad Abu Ya’qub, Qusai Hassan Shakur, and Khalil Issa Ubeid.
The operation involved thorough searches of homes, creating an atmosphere of tension and anxiety among residents. Eyewitnesses reported heightened fear as families faced the uncertainty of the raids.
This escalation forms part of a broader pattern of arrests and violations carried out by Israeli forces in the West Bank. Recent reports indicate that at least 20 Palestinians have been detained in various locations over the past few hours.
The situation remains fluid, and the international community continues to monitor developments in the region closely.
