On Saturday, four civilians, including three children and a woman, sustained injuries from gunfire by Houthi snipers in residential areas of the Al-Kadha and Al-Rahba districts in western Taiz Governorate. Local and medical sources confirmed the incident.

Direct Targeting of Civilians

The sources reported that the snipers deliberately targeted civilians, resulting in injuries to three members of the same family, including two children. Additionally, another child and a woman also suffered injuries.

The injured individuals include:

• Mahfouz Mahfouz Salem Abdulrazak (7 years old) – Hit by a bullet that penetrated his back.
• Nunan Mahfouz Salem Abdulrazak (13 years old) – Struck by a bullet in his left hand.
• Safaa Mahfouz Salem Abdulrazak (30 years old) – Wounded by a bullet in her neck.
• Turki Haza Ahmed Hazem (8 years old) – Injured by shrapnel in his jaw.
