On Tuesday, a tragic incident unfolded in the villages of the Salah district, southeast of Taiz province, where Houthi militias, backed by the Iranian regime, launched a deadly shelling attack. This assault resulted in the death of an elderly woman and left a young girl with severe injuries.

Casualties Reported

Medical sources reported to “September Net” that 60-year-old Jaleela Qaid Abdullah Ghaleb lost her life in the village of Al-Aqiyous. The shelling, which originated from Houthi positions in the Khadir district, also critically injured 13-year-old Rahaf Raed Abdulhakim. Following the attack, emergency responders transported Rahaf to a hospital in Taiz for urgent medical care.

Since their coup against the legitimate government, the Houthis have consistently targeted residential neighborhoods and villages in Taiz.
