A woman has died, and several citizens sustained injuries due to severe floods and heavy rains that struck the Al-Manar district in Dhammar Province. This tragic incident also resulted in significant material damage to public properties and vital facilities, according to local sources.
Reports indicate that the floods were accompanied by rockslides, which led to the death of one woman and the loss of several livestock. Additionally, various transport vehicles suffered damage. The floods caused the main and secondary roads leading to the district center to become impassable, halting traffic completely in the area.
Earlier, the Yemen Meteorological and Early Warning Center issued urgent alerts regarding potential weather disturbances. The center predicted thunderstorms and strong winds over the next three days across several provinces.
