Collaborative Response to Natural Disasters

The Governor of Hajjah Province, Major General Abdulkarim al-Sunini, has praised the efforts of Saudi Arabia in mitigating the humanitarian crisis that has befallen the residents and displaced individuals in the northern part of the province. This crisis resulted from the recent floods and storms that the province experienced.

During a meeting with Brigadier General Mohammed Hovan, commander of Task Force 800, the focus was on discussing the ongoing efforts to assist those affected by the adverse weather conditions.

King Salman Relief Center’s Vital Role

In a significant act of support, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center distributed shelter bags and tents to the families most in need within the Abs and Hayran districts of Hajjah Province. This initiative benefitted 1,692 individuals across 282 families, forming part of a broader project to distribute emergency shelter aid in Yemen.

Enhanced Cooperation and Support

This collaboration underscores the strong ties and shared commitment to humanitarian assistance between Yemen and Saudi Arabia. The provision of urgent relief supplies by the King Salman Relief Center marks a crucial step in addressing the immediate needs of those impacted by the natural disasters, showcasing a continued partnership in these challenging times.
