Yemen Welcomes New Angolan Ambassador in a Diplomatic Gesture

In an important diplomatic event held in Aden, Yemen’s temporary capital, Dr. Shaia Al-Zindani, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, received the credentials from Nelson Manuel Cosme, the newly appointed Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the friendly Republic of Angola to Yemen. This ceremony marks a significant step in bolstering the friendship and cooperation between the two nations.

Minister Al-Zindani extended a warm welcome to Ambassador Cosme, expressing his best wishes for the ambassador’s success in his new role. He assured full support and facilitation from Yemen to enhance the bilateral relations and expand the horizons of cooperation in various fields. The gesture underscores Yemen’s commitment to fostering strong diplomatic ties with Angola, reflecting a mutual desire for growth and collaboration.

On his part, Ambassador Cosme reaffirmed Angola’s steadfast support for the Yemeni government. The credential presentation ceremony was attended by notable figures including Jamal Awad Nasser, the Advisor to the Minister of Foreign Affairs for General Secretariat Affairs, and Ambassador Abdullah Berman, the Director of Protocol at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
