Strengthening Ties: Yemen and Ethiopia Discuss Bilateral Relations

In a significant meeting held in Aden, Yemen’s temporary capital, Dr. Shaia Al-Zindani, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, engaged in discussions with the non-resident Ethiopian Ambassador to Yemen, Faisal Ibrahim. The focus of their conversation was on a range of topics aimed at enhancing the bilateral relations between the two nations, alongside issues of mutual interest.

Historical Bonds and Future Prospects

The Yemeni Foreign Minister lauded the historical ties that have long existed between Yemen and Ethiopia, underscoring the importance of nurturing these relationships across various fields. He emphasized that such development would serve the interests of both countries and their peoples, highlighting the potential for a stronger partnership moving forward.

From his side, the Ethiopian Ambassador expressed his country’s eagerness to expand these relations further, hinting at a future of increased collaboration and mutual benefits.

Among them were Jamal Nasser, the Advisor to the Minister of Foreign Affairs on General Office Affairs, and Abdullah Barman, the Director of Protocol at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
